Why do you photograph on film?
The options are otherwise too limited.
What is your work about?
For JMZ, I spent a year and a half walking through the streets of inner-city Brooklyn and photographing the things, spaces, and people I encountered along the way. I used photography to try to understand an unfamiliar landscape and the elements that elicited a sense of awe, wonder, and confusion in me.
