What is your work about?
These pictures are motivated by the experience of unexpected discovery that occurs in the everyday. They operate as an always shifting visual language driven by form, texture, shape, time, and light.

How does photographing on film (or using your material photographic process of predilection) inform your artistic practice?
Photographing on film calls for a more patient process when making an image. This has become very evident to me by using a 4×5 view camera because of its ability to capture information. Using this setup calls for a great amount of attention in order to capture the thing I’m photographing correctly.
