Ann-Christin Bertrand, Curator at C/O Berlin (Berlin, Germany)

Ann-Christin Bertrand is curator for C/O Berlin. She heads the C/O Berlin Talents program, an annual internationally advertised competition for young contemporary photography and art criticism, and has organized collective and individual shows as well as the C/O Berlin Book Days, a platform for self-publishers. She also has recently developed the series of public programs In Transition as well as the exhibition series Thinking about Photography, starting at C/O Berlin in January 2015.


Yeonha Choi, Art Critic & Chief Curator at Space 22 (Seoul, South Korea)

Yeonha Choi is an art critic, independent curator and professor of Photography & Criticism at the Chung-Ang University & Hong-Ik University. She has held over forty photo exhibitions in Korea, Southeast Asia and Europe, including Imagine Earth (2012), Delpire&Cie (2011), UNESCO APCEIU (2006~2009), Sarah Moon (2008), Green Art Festival (2004~2008) & Seoul International Photo Festival (2008). She was selected as one of Korea’s top ten art critics in 2007 and 2008 and she was granted funding from the Art Council of Korea and the Seoul Foundation of Art and Culture. She participated as a co-writer of twenty Artists and Critics and has published a book, On Photography.


Jeong Eun Kim, Chief Editor/Publisher of IANN Magazine (Seoul, South Korea)

Jeong Eun Kim is the editor in chief and publisher of contemporary art photography magazine, IANN Magazine, a fine art bi-annually printed magazine which is published simultaneously in Korea and Japan by co-publishing FOIL. Putting down the two languages together (Korean/English), IANN focus exclusively on encouraging artists/writers/readers to engage directly with photography and aspire to present new ways of understanding photography as contemporary art.

Damien Poulain, Founder of Oodee (London, UK)

Based in London, Oodee is an independent publishing house working closely with establish and emerging photographers and dedicate on designing and printing unique contemporary photography books. Founded in 2011, oodee is led by Creative Director Damien Poulain. With more than ten years of experience, including award-winning photography books designs, some of oodee’s titles are part of Martin Parr & Gerry Badger historic volume ‘The Photobook: A History Volume II’. In 2014, Damien Poulain took part in the jury of the Hyeres Photography festival (France), and the International Photography Award (USA). Oodee is promoting the work of young female photographers internationally through its POV Female series and collaborate and publishes the work of photographers such as Pieter Hugo, Charlotte Dumas, Viviane Sassen and Roger Ballen.


Aline Smithson, Photographer & Founder of Lenscratch (Los Angeles, United States)

After a career as a New York Fashion Editor, Aline Smithson is now represented by galleries in the U.S. and Europe and published throughout the world. She has exhibited widely including numerous solo and group exhibitions around the globe and her work is held in a number of public collections. Her photographs have been featured in publications including PDN, the PDN Photo Annual, Communication Arts Photo Annual, Eyemazing, Soura, Visura, Fraction, Artworks, Diffusion, Rangefinder, Lenswork Extended, Shots, Pozytyw, and Silvershotz magazines. In 2014, Aline received the Excellence in Teaching Award by CENTER and her work was selected for the Critical Mass Top 50 Portfolios. Aline was recognized with the 2012 Rising Star Award through the Griffin Museum of Photography for her contributions to the photographic community. Aline founded and writes the blogzine, Lenscratch, that celebrates a different contemporary photographer each day and offers opportunity for exhibition. She curates and jurors exhibitions for a number of galleries, organizations, and magazines. In addition, she is a reviewer at many photo festivals across the United States and writes for a variety of publications. She lives and works in Los Angeles and is a founding member of the Six Shooter Collective.


Corinne Tapia, Director of Sous Les Etoiles Gallery (New York, United States)

Founded in 2006 by gallerist, curator and former reporter Corinne Tapia, Sous Les Etoiles Gallery nurtures the work of photographers with unique stories to tell. From the time she opened the gallery’s doors, Ms. Tapia’s steadfast focus has been on developing the gallery’s curatorial program and the careers of the artists represented. Today, Sous Les Etoiles Gallery is a leading New York-based photography gallery that promotes exhibitions in public space, participates in several top U.S. art fairs and continually collaborates with galleries on a global scale.
