FOTOFILMIC is proud to present the final 11 photographic projects developed during its 2024-25 Annual FotoFilmic Mentoring Program (AFMP) that was led by core mentors Elisa Medde (IT/NL), Stacy Kranitz (USA), and Christian Patterson (USA).
This year-long program involved two in-person retreats in Bowen Island (CA) at the FOTOFILMIC Space in May 2024, and in Paris (FR) in November 2024, complemented by a robust online schedule of group and individual meetings throughout. The final projects culminated in a first full-scale exhibition presentation at the FOTOFILMIC Space on Bowen Island BC July 5-August 17, 2025 that coincided with the release of the 2024-25 AFMP catalog publication, followed by a second edited Paris showing at the FotoFilmic Paris Gallery in Le Marais November 11-15, 2025 during Paris Photo.
Through the catalog and dual exhibitions FOTOFILMIC aspires to facilitate the introduction and circulation of the 11 AFMP II graduates’ voices throughout the global photography community, and to insert their respective projects as valuable contributions to the medium’s ever evolving contemporary conversation.
