FOTOFILMIC is proud to present the final 8 photobook maquettes developed during the 1st edition of FBP (FotoFilmic Book Program) directed by acclaimed photographer Greg Girard, and with longtime publishing collaborators Michael Kominek and Gonzalo Sanchez in a supporting role. This year’s summer exhibition in Bowen Island, Canada, and fall exhibition in Paris, France, during Paris Photo will feature the completed books projects of (in alphabetical order) Clara Fung(HK), Leon Gallo(IT/JP), Victor Hoshiko(MX), Paulo Lopez (US), Kyle Lui (US), Trey McNair (US), Diego Saldiva (BR/CH) and Toto Tvalavadze (GE/JP).

This year the FBP Exhibition opening is expanding beyond the FOTOFILMIC Space into exciting follow up receptions with food, drinks and music at our friends’ nearby boutiques Miki Tanaka, and Dana Lee Brown! Miki Tanaka is a New York-educated metalsmith artist and jeweller originally from the Izu Peninsula in Japan. And Dana Lee Brown is a creative textile studio developing soil-to-loom fabrics together with North American farms and supply chains. Both are incredibly talented creatives that we are lucky to call our friends and neighbours!
