JRNL 6 FALL 2020

GUEST EDITED BY EMMA BOWKETT (FT WEEKEND MAGAZINE)

JRNL 6 FALL 2020 ISSUE

As we head into the fall of an unprecedented year of changes driven by a global pandemic that has already managed to shift it seems for the long run the position and role photographers occupy in the information age while  also disrupting their work methods and means of artistic dissemination, the critical curatorial exercise the present JRNL Issue represents was bound to be challenging, especially considering its analogue focus and open theme. Yet the 12 talents from 7 countries guest editor Emma Bowkett invites us to consider provide a unique collective picture of resilience, of a grounded, purposeful presence in a world in crisis that is simultaneously reassuring and revealing – of both our existing divides, and the common future that connects us despite everything.
