Why do you photograph on film?
Its a different way of interacting with photography as an artist. It slows me down whilst shooting, making me consider the results a lot more. The whole process of film photography from loading the camera to hand printing is what I fell in love with and I don’t think I would be as passionate about what I do if I didn’t go through these stages to come to a result.
What is your work about?
My work is heavily based on social documentary, mainly on how we interact with each other and the world around us. Peoples passions interest me and I like to enter into these worlds to document these people doing what they love to do. I admire their dedication to something that someone else may never even of heard of.
